I remember scoring a C5 for my WA2 in Sec 3 before joining Jia Yi’s class. After joining his lessons, I was able to improve from a C5 to an A1 in my subsequent weighted exam and have consistently scored A1 in all my exams since, including my O-Levels. Jia Yi’s classes are both interactive and effective. He focuses on building strong fundamentals before drilling us with plenty of practice questions in preparation for the different questions the exam might test. Thanks to Jia Yi's guidance, I became much more confident in Chemistry and am very grateful to have been taught by him.

I joined Jia Yi's class in Sec 4 and he quickly helped me rebuild and strengthen my foundation in the Chemistry subject. He actively asked questions and regularly checked in on our understanding during class. Jia Yi is very patient and attentive to his students. Outside of class, he responded to questions very quickly and guided me towards finding the answers myself. Through this process, I gradually gained confidence in Chemistry and it eventually became my favourite subject. As the O-Levels approached, he also provided countless practice questions and highlighted key points that were extremely useful. I improved by six grades from when I first started tuition with him, an achievement I never thought was possible!

I have honestly been struggling with Biology since Secondary 3 and couldn’t really grasp the concepts for almost every topic. However, Ms Natasha was really patient and thoroughly went through the respective topics with me step-by-step, explaining the different concepts in a way which helped me to finally understand and catch up. With her help, my grade improved from an E in every Secondary 3 exam, to an A1 in my O-Level examinations. Her explanations were clear and she never made me feel dumb for asking questions. I’m really grateful for her help!

After joining Jia Yi’s class, I went from failing Chemistry to achieving an A1 in my O-Level exams. Jia Yi was always willing to answer my questions during lessons and would even stay back after class to help me understand more difficult concepts. Jia Yi breaks down topics into bite-sized and more easily understandable pieces, making them much easier to remember.

I was struggling with Pure Chemistry and decided to join Jia Yi’s classes. With his guidance and patience, he helped me to understand concepts more clearly and apply them effectively in my exams. Over the past five months of being in his class, my Chemistry grade improved from a C5 to an A2 in my O-Levels. Ms Jael is an extraordinarily patient and supportive teacher. She explains topics clearly and logically, making complex concepts much easier to grasp. Whenever we encounter more challenging or perplexing questions, she ensures that we fully understand them before moving on. Under her guidance, my confidence in Physics has improved significantly. I can now approach questions calmly and logically, instead of panicking or feeling overwhelmed.

Before attending Ms Jael’s classes, I was scoring C6s for my Physics. I truly appreciate her genuine care for her students, both during and outside of class. I’ve never been afraid to approach her with my doubts, as she always responds promptly and ensures that I understand the concept tested. Ever since I joined Jia Yi’s classes, I became more interested in Chemistry. I used to struggle with specific concepts which affected my overall understanding of the subject. However, Jia Yi made the effort to continue consultations outside of lessons, which greatly improved my learning. The lesson materials provided in class were also well-structured and easy to understand. I improved from a C in Secondary 3 to an A2 in my O-Levels.

I joined Jia Yi’s classes after attending his trial class, where I realised the support provided by him was sufficient in helping me address my weaknesses in Chemistry. Jia Yi explained concepts clearly and patiently during lessons, allowing me to be able to understand the subject much better. He provided many past year papers for us to practice during lessons, reviewing them immediately afterwards. I found this method very effective as it helped me to identify my mistakes and learn from them quickly. Jia Yi was also very responsive and replied promptly whenever I had questions. During lessons, he asks questions to ensure we are following along and that we truly understand the content, helping to reinforce our learning. Outside of class, he is also very responsive and replies to questions I may have regarding the subject very quickly, regardless of the time. The support and guidance he provided greatly improved my confidence and understanding of the Chemistry subject, which was reflected in my O-Level results.
