I joined Shi Neng’s class midway through J2 after NSG, and despite starting later than the other students, he made sure I could keep up and fully understand the content. Before joining Zenith, I struggled with H2 Chemistry, but Shi Neng’s ability to break down complex concepts into simpler, more digestible terms really helped me grasp them more effectively. Chuan Li is an excellent tutor who focuses on strong fundamentals and lots of practice, which really helped me improve my understanding of Math. Over the two years, I was able to consistently maintain an A in Mathematics and eventually achieved an A for my A-Levels under his guidance. He is also very friendly and approachable, always quick to reply to questions no matter the time.

Zenith played an integral role in my A-Level success. The structured lessons, extra practice sets, and intensive revision sessions helped break down complex concepts and made me feel ahead in school. Ryan's teaching made Chemistry much more manageable and even enjoyable, and he was always quick to respond to questions and motivate us when things got tough.

I think that improving in a subject is not only about the notes, but also about making learning enjoyable, and somehow Shi Neng managed to do that. From making jokes to actually staying up with us and teaching us all the important concepts, he made studying chemistry feel much less mundane. I am extremely grateful to have met Shi Neng during JC. He explains concepts very clearly, breaking down even difficult topics into simple ideas and analogies. His lessons are well structured, succinct, and efficient, making every class productive and engaging. Beyond his highly competent teaching abilities, Shi Neng also values strong teacher-student relationships. He goes the extra mile to encourage his students and provide moral support. He is incredibly hardworking and selfless to his students - sleeping late and waking up early on days we have papers to answer any last minute questions. If i had to restart my JC journey, I wouldn’t hesitate to choose him again as my tutor.

I joined Zenith in J1 after realising I was falling behind, and it was one of the best decisions I made. The notes provided were clear, well-structured, and made the content so much easier to understand compared to what I was used to. Shi Neng puts in a tremendous amount of effort for his students; he's always willing to answer questions (even at midnight) and holds consultations outside of class. After getting back my exam papers, he identified the topics I needed to focus on and his encouragement throughout gave me a lot more confidence in Chemistry. I used to struggle a lot with my answering techniques for chem which caused me to score less even after memorising all the content. Ryan’s approach of highlighting the keywords and how to analyse each question type helped me out the most. Nearing A Levels the time trial sessions also helped me really manage my time and build my confidence! At the end I managed to get a B which is a huge improvement from my previous U grade and it surpassed my own expectations also, all thanks to Ryan!

I was really struggling with the mental aspect of tackling A levels especially with H2 Chemistry. During lessons, Ryan really engaged us in the concepts by frequently asking us questions to test our understanding as well as learn from other student’s mistakes. I can definitely say that at the end of 2 years of tutoring under Ryan, my confidence in chemistry had definitely increased progressively. With consistent efforts during lessons, I managed to maintain my chemistry grade at an A/B range throughout jc, and finally clinched the A for the A levels at the end.

I joined Zenith Chemistry midway through J1 after scoring an S for my WA. More than a chemistry tutor, Shi Neng has been a mentor since my day 1 in JC. I joined Zenith early on in J1, when A Divs and school events were frequent and had me missing a lot of classes. Since secondary school, Chemistry was my weakest subject, so I turned to Zenith to save me from failing. Shi Neng was very friendly from the start and he really encouraged and pushed me to do the best I could. Even when it felt like hopeless and had to drop to H1, he kept encouraging me. Gearing up towards Alevels, I texted him every single day with questions and without fail, he replied them all. He would even call me when he was driving home or zoom me at midnight. Our class started at 9am and he would come to class at 7.30-8am for extra consults to clear up any of my questions! He was also a friend and mentor, listening to my crash outs and helping me out :) Shi Neng believed in me when none of my school tutors did, and he's the reason I could improve by 7 grades in 1.5 months!!!!

Since secondary school I had always dreaded chemistry, and I was consistently obtaining subpar results in my examinations. I was struggling to understand the content. I joined Xavier’s Chemistry classes midway through my J1 year, at a time when I was still struggling to adjust to the rigours of the JC curriculum. Chemistry had never been my strongest subject, and I was genuinely anxious about whether I would be able to cope in the lead-up to my A Levels. However, Xavier was consistently patient, encouraging, and understanding. 🫶 Whenever I encountered difficulties, he would stay back and deconstruct complex concepts into clear explanations, ensuring that I grasped not just the surface details but the underlying principles as well. His quick replies to my messages also allowed me to clarify doubts quickly and study more efficiently.💪 The notes provided at Zenith were also immensely helpful, eliminating unnecessary information and focusing only on what was essential for the A Level syllabus. With his guidance, I gradually grew more confident in my ability to tackle Chemistry and as a result, my grades improved significantly, rising from a U to a B.

My experience in Chemistry class with Dr Ryan was amazing! We were always checked up on and the lessons were so engaging that I never found myself struggling to grasp concepts or lagging behind! Everything was always planned and an extremely concise manner and it helped me bridge gaps in my learning really efficiently. Before coming into Zenith, I struggled with a wide variety of concepts which were always in my head, yet not very solidified. Zenith's lesson plans are designed in a way that naturally helps to solidify key principles and ideas during the lesson itself and that was truly the key driving factor as to what helped me improve my Chemistry within quite a short runway! Dr Ryan also arranged extra remedial slots with my friend and I for additional consults and questions which was genuinely eye-opening especially with the way he explained complex so simply to us by breaking them down and ensuring we understood them and weren't blindly taking in information. My time with Dr Ryan, although short, was extremely efficient and splendid and I am so grateful for all his guidance, his patience and the sheer amount of knowledge he brings to our lessons as he shares fun facts that help deepen our understanding on Chemistry as a whole. She's also really nice to talk to, which made a big difference during stressful times in school.
