I am an educator who values depth of understanding over rote learning. I believe that true learning happens when students grasp the ideas and theories behind what they are doing, not just the final answers. In my classes, I focus on breaking concepts down, asking purposeful questions, and guiding students to make connections on their own before reinforcing key points. This approach helps students build confidence in their thinking, become more independent learners, and apply their knowledge meaningfully rather than mechanically.
My students describe me as a teacher who helps them truly understand the why behind what they are learning, rather than just memorising formulas. They’ve shared that through my teaching, they’ve gained a clearer and deeper grasp of the theories and concepts that underpin the formulae, which allows them to apply their knowledge with greater confidence. This approach helps them see learning as a connected process, making complex ideas more intuitive and meaningful instead of mechanical or abstract.
