"I was struggling a lot with Economics in J1 and convinced myself that I could self-study, but I was wrong. My school was focusing on teaching the content, while what I really needed was extra help and practice in answering techniques, which I think is more important to master. I only joined Lay Chun’s class at the beginning of J2 after I didn’t meet my expectations for my Economics promos. My friends who were already in his class recommended him to me, so I had high expectations.In the first few months, Lay Chun met all my expectations, and I saw an improvement in my grades. Every lesson was planned perfectly, the pace was just right, and I always left class liking Economics a bit more. "Initially, I was not good in Economics and constantly kept failing, getting grades like 2/13 throughout school. A-Level was the first time I got an A, and it was because of my tutor. He constantly reminded us of what was important to focus on for A-Levels and provided concise explanations of the content, excluding unnecessary information and only focusing on what mattered.
