I enrolled in Zenith Jurong East for H2 Biology, and it was honestly one of the best academic decisions I made. The lessons go far beyond memorising content — there is a strong focus on understanding concepts deeply, which is crucial for tackling higher-order H2 Bio questions. Because of this, I felt much more confident explaining processes and applying concepts during exams.
The tutors are very committed and supportive. Mr Josh in particular stands out for his distinctive teaching approach — he trains students to think logically and critically instead of simply giving model answers. This really strengthened my answering techniques and ability to handle unfamiliar questions. Zenith also ensures regular exposure to exam-style questions by having students attempt H2 Biology papers consistently, which helped me improve steadily over time. Overall, Zenith provides an excellent balance of content mastery and exam readiness, and I would definitely recommend it to students who are serious about doing well in H2 Biology.

I attended J2 Biology at Zenith Education Studio! Proud to say I studied at Zenith as my experience there made me realise just how much my needs were met. I felt as though every aspect was taken care of! Not to mention dedicated teachers like Josh, who taught me Bio! His Quizlet flashcards really helped me memorise my content better, focusing on key answer techniques. I think the techniques to answering questions might be easily overlooked since other students might focus on ace-ing their content but personally, I think that Josh's set of answering techniques drilled the proper way to answer questions in me. It was to the point that when I saw a question, I instinctively knew what to write. While I saw a question to be a relatively easy one, my non-Zenith schoolmates struggled to apply the accurate concepts for the questions
I really felt so taken care of at Zenith. Like Josh bought for us Wingstop during our 5 hour lessons which honestly offset the pain of studying for A-Levels.
Sometimes I wonder how the teachers earn enough when so much goes back to the welfare but I think this just serves as proof that Zenith is one of a kind. They have relatively cheap rates and I feel like 100% goes back to the students so you won't have to worry about not getting your money's worth.

The teachers are extremely dedicated and helpful; Mr Josh, for example, has a very unique teaching style that guides your thinking process instead of spoon-feeding answers. This really helped me improve my application and analysis skills. Zenith also makes students attempt H2 Biology papers every week, ensuring consistent exposure to a wide range of question types. This balance between solid content understanding and exam practice is something many centres neglect, but Zenith executes it exceptionally well. Highly recommended for serious H2 Bio students.

I am very grateful to have Mr Tan as my form teacher and biology teacher. Even though I already like the subject by itself, he made it 10 times more interesting and enjoyable. I always look forward to every one of his lessons because he somehow always manages to make it very interactive. I really like his teaching style! He is the first teacher that I met who annotates so much on the notes and goes through it in so much detail just to help his students to understand and really, it does help us to understand the concepts better! At first when I saw that he would consolidate and write down our common error for each of our assignments and annotate his feedback, I was thinking which teacher would spend their time to prepare so much just to go through corrections because most would just show the answer sheet, but I am very thankful to Mr Tan for doing that because it really helped us to understand our mistakes better!
Although sometimes the class is noisy or distracted, Mr Tan seems to handle it very well without scolding us. He is also approachable and always willing to answer all our questions! Till the point where our class would have too many questions and he had to ask us to meet him after class, but I guess it shows our passion for biology and how approachable he is! I would have a lot of last minute questions before our exams, but Mr Tan always answers them patiently and meets us for consultations to clear our doubts.

Mr Tan always seeks to improve our lessons and use innovative methods. For boring content such as going through TYS, he somehow found new ways to make it entertaining (e.g. incorporating bingo cards), and for learning new concepts, he used physical simulations such as the the natural selection simulation activity and human polynucleotide linking activity. These allowed us to remember the concepts more vividly while having fun.

Mr Joshua Tan created many different games to stimulate our learning and encourage participation. His unique and innovative approach to teaching biology helped us grasp concepts better and also the game and prizes encourages us to do our best in class. He also goes the extra mile to prepare us video lessons for sick students and extra online lessons for us to better understand what was taught in class.

Mr Tan is an amazing teacher for being able to let us have as much fun as we learn. He puts in so much effort to make sure we enjoy the lessons and that we can understand the concepts being taught! Mr Tan is a wonderful biology teacher. His way of teaching is special. He is able to make complex concepts simple and easy to understand. I remember a particular incident in Sec 1 WA1, I scored a B4 with tons of careless mistakes, and he said, “it’s fine, it’s careless mistake, you’ll do better the next time”. Rather simple per se, but that encouragement did “spark” something in me to be the student I am today. His lessons were also something that I truly love.
