Ms Jo-Anne’s lessons are very well-structured, and I have personally learnt a lot from her. Some lessons focused on current affairs, while others were aimed at building stronger comprehension and writing skills. The mock practices conducted have been especially helpful, allowing me to better understand my own standard and identify areas for improvement. I genuinely enjoyed attending her lessons. I have enjoyed and benefited from Ms Jo-Anne's lessons. She is highly knowledgeable and a mentor deeply committed to her students’ progress. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to systematically build our content knowledge and vocabulary, which greatly improved my ability to develop ideas and support them with relevant examples. Through regular essay practices, Ms Jo-Anne helped me master different types of writing, where she trained me to improve my sentence structure, grammatical accuracy, and word choice, allowing me to write with precision. She also flexible in her teaching methods, offering on-site, recorded, and online lessons. When I was occupied with my Student Council CCA, I relied heavily on online classes. Despite being initially concerned of the effectiveness of a virtual lesson, they proved to be just as effective. Her well-organised resources and constant guidance ensured that I was always able to follow the lessons smoothly. I also improved remarkably in my comprehension component. Previously, I struggled with inference-type questions, often feeling overwhelmed. However, Ms. Jo-Anne taught me clear techniques to identify question types, which helped me approach both narrative and non-narrative passages with much greater confidence. Under her guidance, my English improved from a consistent C6 to a B3, a testament to her dedication and exceptional teaching. Overall, Ms. Jo-Anne has not only strengthened my skills but also helped me in my confidence as a learner. I am sincerely grateful for her guidance and would highly recommend her to any student seeking genuine and lasting improvement in English.

Mr John, the absolute goat, is the most incredible tuition teacher I have ever had. He is a very down-to-earth, laid-back guy that I'm not scared of asking questions to. He gives comprehensive notes that he stayed up till 2 am compiling; oral tips, sample essays, past year questions, how to identify and answer every question type in P2, how to score well for editing instead of relying solely on “what sounds right”. Everything was in there. I had always wished to have collated notes for the respective skills and question types but was unable to create them myself because my knowledge and notes were all over the place. The biggest impact he had on me was when he taught me how to write essays. I completely banked on solely practising argumentative or discursive essays because I only knew how to do that. However, through Mr John's teaching, I discovered that I learnt best through examples. He showed me some example essays and and explained in such a way that I realised I was starting to get the hang of descriptive essays. Mr John and his teachings directly impacted me as I went from someone who had never written a descriptive essay before, to someone who chose to write one for my Paper 1 in English O-Levels. I even used many descriptive phrases from his sample essays which made me feel adequately prepared for my O-Levels, and I will forever be grateful for it. From scoring C grades for English, I managed to score an A1 in my O-Levels. I am so glad I found Zenith and would absolutely recommend it to anyone who struggles in subjects that Zenith offers — even people who think there's no hope.
