"I have enjoyed and benefited from Ms Jo-Anne's lessons. She is highly knowledgeable and a mentor deeply committed to her students’ progress. One of her greatest strengths is her ability to systematically build our content knowledge and vocabulary, which greatly improved my ability to develop ideas and support them with relevant examples. Through regular essay practices, Ms Jo-Anne helped me master different types of writing, where she trained me to improve my sentence structure, grammatical accuracy, and word choice, allowing me to write with precision. She also flexible in her teaching methods, offering on-site, recorded, and online lessons. When I was occupied with my Student Council CCA, I relied heavily on online classes. Despite being initially concerned of the effectiveness of a virtual lesson, they proved to be just as effective. Her well-organised resources and constant guidance ensured that I was always able to follow the lessons smoothly. I also improved remarkably in my comprehension component. Previously, I struggled with inference-type questions, often feeling overwhelmed.
