How do I choose the right subject combinations for my desired course?

If you have a desired course and university in mind, check for any subject or grade requirements and choose your subject combination accordingly. You should also take into consideration your past academic performance and ability to cope with the subject workload.

For people who are unsure about their subject choices or who wish to pursue a hybrid subject combination, you may need to seek your school's approval to ensure you comply with school guidelines.

How do my A Level results affect university admissions in Singapore?

A Level results are one of the core considerations for university admissions in Singapore.

Whether you’re aiming for a business course at Singapore Management University, a STEM programme at Nanyang Technological University, or a language and literature degree at the National University of Singapore, strong results can give you a distinct advantage over the rest of the applicants.

What is IAL, and how is it different from regular A Levels?

The International Advanced Level (IAL) is a globally recognised qualification offered by the Edexcel exam board. It is similar to the Singapore Cambridge GCE A Level but is designed to be more flexible for international students or students going through the Integrated Programme (IP) route.
