My teaching philosophy is rooted in the belief that we learn best through our mistakes — and nowhere is this truer than in mathematics. In a subject where every small step matters, it’s crucial that students feel safe to stumble, yet confident enough to keep going. I want my students to know that it's okay to get things wrong — and in fact, I’m happy when they do — as long as they keep trying to get it right.
Since I started teaching, I’ve worked with students across the academic spectrum — from those striving to pass their exams to those pushing to excel at the highest levels. But regardless of their backgrounds, none have left my classroom without feeling proud of the progress they've made.
My students describe me as someone who explains things with clarity and patience. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching for me is witnessing that “lightbulb moment”—the wide-eyed “Ahh!” and the smile that follows when a concept finally clicks. It’s a reaction I’ve seen many times, and it never stops being fulfilling.
